Incapacity back to work

Have DWP made a mistake I have been in receipt of incapacity and have the higher rate care component of DLA for a very long time. My illness is 10 times worse now than what it was when I was awarded this..
Have they made an error, I would not feel any better as what I've gone through over the last eight weeks has left me absolutely broken, the little dignity I had left, I feel as died. Please advise Kathy

The trauma of just filling in this form as made me feel sick, I have a huge list of health issues but receiving this letter for interview has devastated me.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
It sounds like you are being transferred from your existing incapacity benefit to ESA. All IB, SDA and IS due to Incapacity claimants are being transferred to ESA, the process started in April 2011 and it due to continue into next year at the least.
IB had a an exemption from the PCA for claimants also receiving DLA HRC, unfortunately this does not exit for ESA.
It may still be possible for you to arrange for a home assessment if this would be easier for you, you will require the support of your GP who will need to write to ATOS explaining why you cannot attend at an ATOS office.
If you are not able to arrange a home assessment then you will need to attend the current appointment, I have to warn you that failing to do so can lead to your current claim being closed, whilst this can be appealed, it can take months to resolve with no guarantee of success.
If we can provide more information, please reply to this post.
