ESA for me and JSA for my husband

Has anybody had a similar experience/got any advice please?

Why can't they just leave him on JSA as an individual and me on ESA as is. Hopefully he'll be able to get a job shortly in which case changing my ESA status would be even more bonkers.
Has anybody had a similar experience/got any advice please?
I hope you will understand but you need to get face to face advice from a trained advisor who can sit down with you and calculate what you would be paid with each of the options so you can make an informed decision, something which we cannot do on the forum.
