Firstly...I need to give you a giant THANK YOU ! :woohoo:

I sent off my DLA renewal last week, having spent *ages* filling in the form with the help of your fabulous guides. I sent about a centimetre of paper in all, basically, if I had it and thought it could possibly help, they got it too!

I got (two) brown envelopes this morning (and promptly panicked  ). The first was the "Thank you for your form, we're looking into your claim" non-letter. The second? Well that was telling me I've been awarded MRC and LRM (same award as before) for two years. No medical, no fuss.

That isn't the most shocking bit, though. The most shocking bit is that it STILL isn't a week since it went in the post - my proof of posting is from last Monday afternoon. The text message acknowledging receipt arrived Wednesday morning.

So: Timeline

Monday 18th: Form sent (using their prepaid envelope)
Tuesday 19th: Form received (according to letter sent the next day)
Wednesday 20th: Text and letter sent, confirming receipt of form
Thursday 21st: Letter sent confirming award.

I'm absolutely astounded. I know I couldn't have done it without the help that the forms gave me. Last time, it took me going to tribunal to get the award.

THANK YOU

Crikey, it sounds as if someone at DWP was on the ball, for a change!

I am glad to hear that you got the same award as last time. Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W :)
