Thanks Gordon. There should have been better protection put in place for people still on IB.

Is it possible for you to explain briefly what the 12 and 102 weeks are regarding ESA (or point me in the right direction if too complicated).

Thanks again.

Hi Catherine

The link below explains briefly.

Scroll down to 'finding full time work'.

Thanks for the link Derek. I don't understand what the 102 week rule is about, but never mind.

The link also provides information about supported permitted work etc, which i was enquiring about the other day. (I would love to know how that works out for people).

Interesting that claimants are allowed to do a days work a week on a tribunal panel, but think it would be too stressful (and probably too complicated) for me. I also suspect I would be expressing a lot of anger where i felt people had been treated unfairly - and disagreeing with the judge if i thought not enough appeals were being won! :)

Thanks again and best wishes.

The linking rules are quite complexed but the link below explains in more detail.

www.lawcentreni.org/EoR/benefits-and-tax...pport-allowance.html

You need to scroll down to 2.6 Linking rules.

It's actually quite an informative page.

Nope - still not sure what it's on about, but won't worry about it anymore.

Thanks for the link though Derek - there is certainly a lot of relevant information on that one, very long page.

Best wishes
