Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Ragnar,
As LL26 said, the tribunal will only be looking at the decision made on the claim you are currently making. It is their job to assess whether or not the DWP made the right decision.
You are absolutely right, if they did have something on you that would be a separate matter and they would correspond with you separately over it.

Hello Ragnar,
It really does not matter how your daughter writes her letter provided it details the problems you have and the help which she is aware that you need. That is the help you NEED, not just the help which she gives you and/or the help other people give you.
Each surgery works differently, I would suggest that you give them a ring to see what they say.
I would suggest that you give your mental health therapist a ring and ask for a supporting letter. Remember to explain what it is it for.

Hi guy's I had my tribunal on april the 5th there it was a disaster the month is up tomorrow 3rd of may have i got till they finish or midnight tomorrow? I received a offer from the DWP in February for standard for both 8 points and 10 for mobility ongoing I refused. Than 2 day's before my tribunal 2nd offer from the DWP same offer but for 3 year's I refused. I got advisor I would have been better renewing my membership on here. I met my advisor for the first time 15 minutes before my tribunal started it should have been 30 minute's as they said that's how they do all there tribunals it was just phone calls than some emails as it was hard to get them on the phone o they done a submission sent me it by email which we never discussed I asked more than couple of times to meet up and discuss get ready for the tribunal but was busy at tribunals and working from home and said my medical records would be enough there was nothing to worry about in that time I was trying to get support letters off my doctor and my mental health therapist I got a support letter off my MHT it could have been better saying how my mental health affected me day to day she done her best. But it was to late for the tribunal for my doctor it was so hard to get appointments with the doctor, me and my daughter had a argument so no support letter one of my dark manic moods she calls them. So on to the tribunal I got there at 9:20am my advisor turned up 9:45am 15 minute's before the tribunal started so I got the lift and they went up the stairs we went into a room a quick discussion than a person came in asked for my advisor this person turned 10 minutes after me my advisor came back into the room saying I would have to accept the DWP offer i was in a mess before i said why how they said the tribunal agree with the DWP offer is fair one it's up to you if you accept the offer or go in but if you do you can end up with nothing I said I will go in so we went in the judge introduce the two women left and right of him but not the person that turned up 10 minutes before my advisor so he asked can you tell me why you went with out getting your medication for 5 months I started to answer the question but backwards that was during the pandamic I was getting my medication off my friend etc he butted in whats your mate's and brothers names etc I can't say sir did you get your medication online I said no it was upfront and legal they get off there own doctor's i was speaking slow etc moving about due to my spine was unbearable it affects everything my mind my whole body I started to to take cramps I raised my left arm due to cramps the judge said i think you and your advisor should go out and discuss this offer as this is the second time and last time am going to offer you it. I thought my advisor would have intervene and put me back on right path of the question like the time you went to Wales to see your family and friends but nothing so we headed out going to the room than suddenly my advisor said let's talk here I said there's the room no sit here so sat down on a chair in the corridor next to the swinging doors leading to the stairs down to the bottom of the building my advisor was talking you have to take this offer so many times I couldn't hear them I wasn't there I was a total mess mentally, emotionally, physically than I looked up advisor said again you have to accept the offer or you'll get notting I said ok as soon as i said ok I stood up and the swinging doors opened it was that guy smiling said something to my advisor than someone to me but never heard him right turned round to my advisor who's that he's the guy from the DWP that was it. Totally shattered
