Hi Denby

Yes, I am aware how important it is to tell your landlord if you can't pay. I'm 49, I've many of years of renting under my belt. I've been evicted twice on "no fault" Section 21's. One landlord went bankrupt, the other wanted to sell. This was despite paying my rent on time (all the time!).

What's an "IVA"?

Hi charlie

When you work through the UC online form you will be asked what benefits you claim, you will be able to inform at this stage that you are in receipt of CB ESA. You can also make a note on your Journal.

If you have any questions about UC I did come across a organisation that may be able to help you called IncomeMax, IncomeMax is a social enterprise; incomemax.org.uk and can help you maximise your income.

Hi Charlie

An individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) is a formal and legally binding agreement between you and your creditors to pay back your debts over a period of time. I come across quite a few people who have been mis-sold an IVA and should have been advised to apply for a Debt Relief Order (DRO).
