Hi Gary,
Sorry to hear about your issues with Covid after such a long time.
Do you know, I hear this all the time where people I know have caught this monster virus and are still suffering months afterwards.
Perhaps some sort of medication will be found at some point in the future to eradicate this once and for all.
In the meantime, this is my 10th day since I tested positive and I am about to do a test but feel it is still there.
I will keep you posted.
Regards,
Phrank.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I am frequently told that I am never normal
and thats from family.
Still, I come onto the forum to relax and help fellow members. I noticed in the news letter this week that success appeals have gone down.
I think this could be down to advice agencies closing their doors during lockdown and claimants trying to do their own appeals without any guidance. I came across a client a few weeks ago who had started their appeal, they sent in one paragraph, I did a submission for them, 8 pages. DWP contacted them and offered std daily living which they took as they did not want to attend a tribunal.
Their claim was backdated 18 months along with SDP for their IR ESA

Totally agree, my self taught expert friend saw a woman when he was in the waiting room for one of his many successful appeals who hadn't sent in anything! Of course in my biased-by-experience opinion it's no accident the gov't has starved many advice agencies out of existence, such as the one who years ago thank God steered my OH's appeal to lifetime DLA which age has enabled him to keep. And indirectly too: I hoped to join CAB years ago but had to get a job because we needed the money, so never did.
So the perfect moment to thank all the volunteer Mods

Ref Covid, OH got it Sat with a vehemently +ve test. Unsurprisingly I now have faint-line +ve too today. But certain that taking 500mg sustained release Vit C 2 or 3 times a day plus high strength garlic tablets plus a 15 mg zinc once or twice a day has helped minimise severity for us both. Could be worth trying Ubiquinol if you can afford it to boost mitochondrial energy, very especially if you also take statins. Further explanations on request if needed, perhaps a new thread?
Hope this helps. Always check with a pharmacist.
