I'm about to move house into a completely different area. What response can I expect from DWP once I inform them of my change of address? When I last moved in 2006 ( also to new area), I was put through medical reassessment. I’m aged 64 and in receipt of ESA (support group) and indefinite award for DLA lower rate care. My last ESA assessment was in 2019, and DLA was 2011
Also, I will be moving into a temporary address for up to 12 months while we find somewhere permanent to live. We will have mail redirection in place for 12 months. Do I actually need to inform DWP, especially as my first address will be temporary?
