PIP Changes in Law was created by akcant
I’ve received a letter re changes in PIP law and First tier Tribunal decisions.
From 28.11.2016. regarding someone’s ability to plan and follow a journey without causing overwhelming psychological distress related to mental health and resulting in a person being unable to complete a journey without another person.

Also from 9.3.2017. regarding carrying out an activity safely and if they need supervision. They must now consider the seriousness of any possible harm that may happen as well as the likelihood of it happening.

I’d appreciate any advice on how to proceed, what terms and phrases should I use and is there a template?

Thanks , Tracey

Hi akcant

These two changes in the law are covered in the PIP guide with links to the case law concerned and what difference it makes to filling in relevant questions and how you might structure an answer.
