HI, I've tried to post before and don't know what has happened as I cant find my question... new to this so don't know correct procedure as such so apologies in advance.
My question is: If someone has been given a ESA (IR) review and they move into a new property and live on their own and no one is receiving carers allowance for them can they have the SDP added to their existing ESA (IR) claim during this review process? They were entitled to SDP previously under their ESA (IR) claim but moved temporarily into a home where they no longer were eligible for the SDP premium. They are waiting for the new property to become vacant so they can then take up tenancy.
Any help on this would be appreciated. If they are subsequently found fit for work does this mean the claim is void from the date of the review or from the day of the assessment... I'm so confused.
