Hi, My 77yr old mother in law is moving back from Greece to the uk. She gets a state pension but we have been told she can get Pension Credit? She has become quite poorly,I was looking at pip or dla or uc. I have been told she is too old for these. Can anyone help please?
You are quite correct in saying your mum cannot claim DLA, PIP and UC.
If your mother has a disability then she may be able to claim Attendance Allowance; www.gov.uk/attendance-allowance To be eligible to apply for Pension Credit would depend on a number of factors as Pension Credit Guarantee is means tested; www.gov.uk/pension-credit.
If your mum's total income from pensions is less that £182.60 pw then she may be entitled to PCG, there are other things to take into consideration such as savings, see the link above
