Hi ashleyp,
Yes, sending an up-to-date prescription list will help no end in your appeal, especially as you can explain, as in your post, how things were started off slowly in the first instance - until the dosage became more agreeable.
The statement saying that because you are on a low dosage of antidepressants and so function adequately is, in my opinion, poppycock.
The assessor is, if course, giving an opinion. But as you have said; it's not the depression that causes you your main problems but anxiety - and that's a whole new ball game.
Opinion it may be, but hazarding a guess sounds more like it.
I just hope you can make your appeal crystal clear and put things right, which I am sure you will.
I wish you the best of luck,
Kind regards,
Phrank.

Hi ashleyp, while sharing the total disgust at the lies [as they did for our daughter], just a caution, they could argue changes of prescription since your assessment do not count. So you need to be firmly clear that these were already planned by your doctors before the assessment and relate to your medical condition existing 3 months prior to you claiming and likely to continue for at least 9 months after your claim date.
Hope this helps,
Denby

Hello Ashleyp
I have some information you migh find helpful with regards to "Person is on low anti-depressant showing they function adequately"
You can find the advice and possible case law for that here www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/v/member8347...44/viewthread/17167/
If you are doing an MR please try not to focus on the assessors or descision makers report and put all of you focus and energy in explaining why you should have scored points for that activity and focus on the descriptor for each activity and explian why you need help and give detailed examples of problems you had and any assistance you needed or aids you use etc.
Hope that helps and good luck with your MR
