Would you recommend to send paperwork back special delivery?

I'm thinking about ongoing industrial actions of Royal Mail, and the pre-paid envelope is 2nd class. How long would it realistically take these days?

Hi randal_bond

I have absolutely no idea how long second class post takes.

Any mail that I send to DWP I would always use recorded delivery as mail does go missing, strike or no strike.

Do I understand it right that my benefits will be stopped if form is lost in post? Thank you

I always use Special Delivery to send anything to any Government department.

Recorded delivery every single time and keep the proof of postage receipt safe, and always keep copies of anything and everything you send.

Hi randal_bond, if you take the pre paid envelope to the Post Office, they should accept it in part payment for Signed For or more expensive services such as Special Delivery. Whatever you do don't send it less than signed for. Then go online and print or at least photograph the signature page. It probably won't be a great signature but it is your proof to file with your copy of the form. So if they try to say you were late or failed to return it, you have your proof of the truth.
