DWP usually tell you with a few weeks but quite often it will turn up in a few days.
You can do an out of time mandatory reconsideration, the absolute time limit is 13 months but you do need to have a good reason for being late.
I often use waiting for the assessors report as an excuse to file a late Mandatory Reconsideration or Appeal, not yet had one turned down, so don't let that put you off.
Whilst waiting for the PA4 get yourselve ready to apply for a mandatory reconsideration by downloading a CRMR1 form which you can start to fill in, if you have a representative get their contact details for the CRMR1 form; For the CRMR1 form to initiate your MR; www.gov.uk/government/publications/chall...ork-and-pensions-dwp

1] Here is a great big virtual H-u-g!
2] don't let the b******s grind you down! -this is just their filthy tactics to make people so ill they go away. But we all have your back here.
3] Saying the PA3 would be 'a few weeks' is just part of the tactics. It ought to come sooner, but if it doesn't, you can submit an 'outline' MR request in time for the deadline, saying you are waiting for the PA3 and will send more info as soon as you can once the PA3 is received. Then do that, it should be fine, just make sure your name and Nat Ins No are on the top of every sheet of every kind. You should send everything signed for, even Special Del. if you can afford it, file all the tracking signature print-offs. Phone a few days after each lot of extras you send to ask if they have added them onto the system.

I was at a PIP appeals tribunal today, where my client had been given standard day living and standard mobility by DWP but disagreed with the assessors report.
The Tribunal awarded enhanced for both components, my advice would be to get a copy of the assessors report, go through it carefully and note down what is incorrect and why, the why part is the important bit.

Thank you Denby for taking the time and trouble to reply and for your kind words. You're all so lovely on here. You're right they do make you ill, i feel ill already just trying to make the decision whether to go ahead or not.

yes im going to wait for the assessors report and then make a decision. Obviously I dont know what it says yet but I have a feeling they didn't look at my new evidence much because they more or less copied word for word what it said on the original PIP award, adding a wee bit in here and there, but totally ignoring my worsening care needs and test results and consultants letters. And it also said I will be reviewed in 2 years because i could recover??? Miracles do happen I suppose, even though my consultants tell me they don't but I suppose DWP know better!
