Back to work assessment was created by hayleychloeevans
Hi
I have been sent a back to work appointment after 5years on esa & pip, it sent the same day they wanted me to attend! 18th nov, I didn't open it until 21st nov...

Do I have to attend or can it be phone?
But firstly do I need a fit to work assessment before a meeting with a work coach?
I'm still unable to work & would struggle to attend the appointment, also surely I should have weeks notice??
Stressed out, awaiting jobcentre calling me back today....

Hi Hayley

I can't give you an answer. I wonder why you were suddenly sent an appointment after all this time. Hopefully, you will have spoken to someone from the job centre, and they will have clarified why. And yes, you should have seven days' notice of any appointment.
