I have received a PIP review form from DWP. The letter is addressed to me, because I am his nominee for benefit purposes, and starts “We understand you are acting for………(my son).. Do I complete the form and answer the questions as though I am him and sign it myself or must he sign the form after I have completed it.
Can I just check, you say you are your sons nominee, do you mean appointee?
If you are your sons appointee then you can fill out the form and sign it, I am not sure by what you mean when you say nominee, but if you are not his appointee then you will need to get your son to sign the form.
What I usually do if I complete a form for someone is under extra information state who I am and why I have completed the form with the input of the claimant and that I have read the contents of what I have written to the claimant.
