Does anyone have any knowledge of how long the DWP are currently taking to assess PIP renewals?

Hi Dee

Because of the backlog the DWP has, we can't give you any accurate timescales at the current time. Some people have sent in review forms, and it has taken up to eighteen months before they have had an assessment, and others have only waited two or three months. I'm afraid it is the luck of the draw. Once someone has had an assessment, the decision letters are taking about eight weeks or more to come through.
