Hi, I have to complete a UC50 capability for work questionnaire but I still have not actually received a diagnosis for the problem I have. How likely is my claim to be successful? Would it be better to withdraw the claim?
I have asked both Universal Credit and the Health Assessment Advisory Service whether it is possible for the date to be extended until I have had a diagnosis but have not had a clear answer. Please help.
Having a firm diagnosis makes it easier, but if you have information from GP or other medical professional or can show you are currently being tested, there is nothing to stop you from applying and showing how your condition currently impacts your ability to work.
I can't tell you whether or not your should withdraw your claim - only you, with your knowledge, can decide that.
