Good day to you all,

Just looking at my PIP paperwork and filing the uprate letter to the huge bundle and noticed my review date etc.

It says , 1 its and ongoing award and 2 we will contact you after 9th February 2026.

I presume that means it is a 'light touch review' , whatever that may entail.

Will that also mean I shall not get a letter until after the date they say 9th Feb 2026, or would I get a letter anytime from 1 year til the date ?

Hi pusscatsmum

Nothing with the DWP is ever 100%. The DWP can actually review anyone's claim, even with an ongoing award, any time they choose. However, you can hope they will stick to what they said and not contact you before the 9th Feb 2026.
