ESA support group and the Budget was created by Zinny
It now appears that those in support group who are also on PIP will remain there with no WCAs. However the 630.000 claimants on ESA alone will have a work coach and be pushed to get employment. However the White Paper will not go through parliament and become legal until after the next General Election. I found this info on sites for the disabled. Can I ask does anyone know will ESA claimants be subject to WCAs between now and the General Election?
A family member on ESA has not had a WCA since before the pandemic - has anyone had one recently - or have they all ceased?

Will ESA claimants have a WCA before the General Election?
Thanks all the volunteers on this forum for their help.

Hi Zinny

WCA's have not ceased. Some people are having them, though because of the backlog the DWP are dealing with, they are far fewer than before the pandemic. We can't tell you who or how many might have assessments before the next General Election.
