Increased April PIP Rates was created by Inspector
Hi,

I have received a letter from DWP advising me of the rate increase in April.

This includes an increase for 'Daily Living' and 'Mobility' which I recieve the higher rate of both.

I am in the 4th year of a Mobility Car contract and wonder will the increase in my Higher Mobility Rate be paid to me, or will it go to the Mobility car provider?

Does not seem fair if the payment goes to the third party vehicle provider despite a current contract and for me to see no benefit?

Regards

Hi Inspector

Unfortunately it will go to the motability scheme to cover the costs of car insurance, wear and tear of the vehicle.
