If it helps I called for mine on a Friday and it took ten days (might have taken less time if I had called mid week?)

It has been over 4 weeks since I asked for a copy of the report and I've still not received it. I DID get a letter dated 11 April to tell me that they've got all the information they need to make a decision.
Today I spent 1hr 40mins on hold re my ESA until I finally spoke to "John from Coventry" who was absolutely excellent; I made the effort to tell him that he'd been marvellous as I'm sure the call handlers get an enormous amount of abuse. After today's experience I don't know whether I have the will to phone the PIP line again about the report.

Hi Rosie

4 weeks does seem a long time, I know that there is a back log and at times a post strike but that is still no excuse.

Usually when I phone up I am told report can take up to 10 days to arrive, usually they arrive with a few days.

I would summon up the strength and contact DWP and ask for another copy as previous copy seems to be lost, the odds are that you will not get the same call handler. When you do phone up make sure you note down the name of the call handler and time of the call.

Good luck

Gary

Thanks Gary. I have so many pieces of paper with things like "Peter, Birmingham, 1.15" and "Suzanne, Leeds 3.45" written on them! I can safely say that not one of them has ever done me any good. I'm thinking of making a giant DWP themed collage of them....

Hi Rosie

It is always useful to have those its of paper just in case things go missing, mind you once everything has gone through ok I would not keep the bits of paper put them through your shredder and use them for your pets bedding if you keep any.
