I know that you can now request an assesment to be recorded. In regards to that, if a Subject Access Request was subsequently made, could you request as part of that, a transcript of any recorded phone call (the assesment) between the company and the person making the SAR, as I know for instance you can do so with other businessess if their calls are recorded and you were advised the call was being recorded.
You can ask for the assessment to be recorded, and you should be sent a copy. You shouldn't have to put in for a SAR, but you can do if necessary. Be aware that some people have been told that the equipment has been faulty afterwards, so they haven't had a recording, which is why we suggest that people do their own covert recording, if they are able to.
