Universal Credit April rise not included on statement - need to be full period?

My Universal Credit statement is from the 25th of March to the 24th of April.

As some of these dates are after the April 10th uplift I expected it to be a bit higher than before, but not the full increase I'll see next month.

That was the case in my PIP payment.

Does Universal Credit need the rise to cover the full period before it takes effect?

Thanks

Hi toetheline

PIP and UC are paid at different periods, PIP is a weekly amount, paid 4 weekly whereas UC is paid monthly.

My understanding is that any changes reflected in your assessment period (25th of previous month to 24 of current month) comes inyo affect when you get paid. UC is paid monthly, in arrears, within 7 days of the end of the monthly assessment period.

So the answer to your question is no.
