Is anyone else experiencing late receipt of letters from the DWP, particularly PIP? I received my PIP review form two and a half weeks late, followed by a letter reminding me to return it days after the due date. All my other mail is on time, it's just the letters about PIP that are very late and I'm worried that they've already sent me another letter with information about an assessment date that I haven't got and they'll use my non-attendance as an excuse to refuse my review. It's been a month now and I've heard nothing. I can't get through on the phone either to ask what the situation is. I'm becoming increasingly concerned that this is a method of decreasing my chances of keeping PIP.
There have been issues with post and the DWP, but as far as I know it has affected all their post - not just PIP.
I know you're worried that you haven't heard anything since you returned your form, but one month is not very long to have not heard anything. I know it will feel a long time for you, because no doubt you're watching the post - everyone does - but we have members that have been waiting eighteen months since they returned their review form. Now I hope you don't have to wait that long, but I would be very surprised if they had tried to send out an assessment date so quickly. However, if you're still concerned - try phoning the DWP. In my experience, it often takes an hour or more to get through - so you just have to keep trying.
