Hi Gary,
The saga of the documents continues:
I replied to their request as per my journal:
"I am gathering the information for Paypal, Premium Bonds, Capital.com and National Lottery in the format the DWP requests and will upload them shortly. Although DWP hasn't requested the information my Steam gaming platform presents significant challenges as it doesn't have a download option and only shows one of my email addresses: REDACTED
I may have to take photos and print them out with my name and address manually added by myself with my signature. This item I include for full disclosure.
Please note that as far as I'm aware, Bitcoin and associated tokens are the digital equivalent of cash and are stored in a 'wallet' which has an 'address'.
The DWP can easily access my two wallets online with all the details:
(Addresses REDACTED)
However the best I can do with these is to add my name and address to a paper print out with my signature on them for verification.
Regards,"
After sending the documents I receive the following:
"Thank you for providing the documents we requested following your appointment. I have reviewed the documents. Unfortunately the documents you have uploaded do not show the following information-
be of the original document
be in focus with all text readable
show both incoming and outgoing transactions
show the start and end balances
show all 4 edges of the statement
show your name and address
show your sort code and account number.
be of the original document
be in focus with all text readable
I have set you another to-do to re-upload the documents. You may need to contact the companies directly to get the statements. Please can you complete the to-do by the due date REDACTED"
I have replied:
"I have done my best with regard to the provision of documents. As far as I'm aware all the items have been as complete as I can make them. Please will you let me know which of the numerous documents that I have provided do not meet the DWP's requirements.I am able to attend a local job centre for verification if necessary.
With regards to the crypto currencies, 'bitcoin' and DPR tokens, which are not worth much I will need physical access to a computer at the jobcentre so that an agent will be able to verify my access to these 'accounts'. Also in the case of DPR token I will need a direct Ethernet cable for the DPR token hardware wallet. The 'crypto' items are not bank accounts and are. as far as I'm aware, the digital equivalent of cash. Perhaps I shouldn't have declared them?
In any case I do not have any more than at the start of the review, at a possible extreme, £5000.- assets.
Please advise."
Going to be intersting to see what the next problem will be - I guess that the DWP are pushing for a Non-compliance excuse for suspending the UC benefit.
What do you, or other members, think of this?

Hi Larry1234
I cannot give an answer as I have not come across bitcoins before or any of your other a/c's.
I usually only deal with bank and savings a/c's and maybe the odd premium bond.

Hi Gary,
"Your Universal Credit Claim Review is now complete. Following our interview, and the information you provided, we can confirm there is no change to your Universal Credit."
After contacting companies, much struggling with documents and then uploading the results I received the above reply. It looks like this is the end of the matter.

Hi Lary1234
It certainly looks as if the matter is over. You went to a lot of trouble to provide them with all the information they requested, and I applaud you.
