PIP extension letter received was created by GJ23
My husband received a 'We have extended your PIP award' letter so in case this is of use or interest to anyone, they have extended the review due on 24/1/28 to .... 29/1/28. Yes 5 days difference!
Not sure it was worth them spending the time, printing and posting the letter for a difference of 5 days. It does also say 'We may extend the end date of your PIP award again. If we do so we will write to you and tell you about this'.

Mine arrived yesterday and it was moved on 2 days!! They said it was because they were aligning the dates from last assessment to end date!!

Hello, yes, received my letter today - extended for 7 days……helpline have confirmed it’s correct to fall into alignment with their system. Agree, what a waste of resources!

I didn't get a extension letter although I'll share my experience
Hello I'm new to the site & thought I would share my experience since the Gov One site has been mentioned. I was initially on DLA went to tribunal stage and given indefinite awards for both then the switch to PIP I had to do a fresh new pip application from scratch again I then had a f2f assessment & then awarded high on both components for 10 years I was due as per my letters and awards they would contact me on or after Feb 2027 so I was expected to hear something this year. I then decided to set up the Gov One account for some reason they couldn't verify me so I did the Post Office application that all went through then the next day I was able to login & it states now on my both awards Indefinite I think I still be reviewed for 2027 though as I never heard of PIP being assigned as indefinite.... I hope this information helps people like me who heard nothing since my award in 2017 to now! It's so vague imho
