Help To Save account last 4 digits / reporting savings correctly to UC was created by Invisible
Hi, I need to declare a new amount of savings to UC, especially since now they are over £ 6000. The UC 'report changes' asks how many savings accounts I have, I have two, one is with Help To Save. No problem entering the bank details of my other bank account, but what to enter for Help To Save? The UC form asks for the last 4 digits, but Help To Save doesn't have them.
Is it ok if I report only my main bank saving account but include the HTS amount in the same field? Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi Invisible
Is there at the end of the form a place to give additional information?

Hi David,
no I didn't see any, I had already just included the HTS savings without mentioning such account. I am thinking to just write this information in the journal the next time I report my savings, which I am going to do every month now before I get paid, just to make sure. I think that seems reasonable, what do you think?
Also I take the opportunity here to mention that I have been asked to go to a Jobcentre interview because I am self-employed. I still have LCW status and UC has made it clear that I am not being asked to work.
However I was asked to google Access To Work 'to decide what kind of support I need', which I will do shortly. Basically, all I have done in the main is to make UC understand that from my point of view, nothing has changed from when I was on ESA with LCW. What I was doing then, I am doing now, which is basically a few hours of self-employment a week consisting in some trading musical instruments and making and selling online courses to musicians (basically, music lessons).
I am trying to quietly suggest to my work coach that there's nothing that I can do, or info I can supply, in person, that I can't do through the journal, such as submitting accounts or bank statements, as well as a diary that outlines how many hours I worked and in what it consisted of, for example course developments or expansion, market research, etc. I can also just give them my UTR with HMRC, which I have had for years.
UC had already told me in a phone interview that they saw my courses (again after submitting as much useful information as I can in the Journal....I do this in the hope that I can avoid going to the Jobcentre, as I am not good dealing with people in person, I am just very awkward and look weird).
Any suggestions at all are welcome. Thank you!

Hi Invisible
I doubt you have been asked to go to the Jobcentre because you are self employed. There is a requirement for a Jobcentre Work Coach to have a conversation with UC claimants with LCW regarding Work Preparation. Here is the official guidance on Work Preparation:-
Work Preparation requirements include: attending a skills assessment preparing a CV improving personal presentation participating in an employment programme developing a business plan researching childcare costs and provision
Aim This regime aims to keep the claimant motivated, preparing them to return to work as soon as they are able while taking their capability into account. There is a stepped increase in support to return to work as the youngest child reaches 3 years. Characteristics This regime includes claimants who: are the lead carer of a child aged 2 have limited capability for work following the outcome of a Work Capability Assessment,
