New-style ESA (LCWRA), IIDB and doing a part-time course online at university

I am on New-Style ESA, (LCWRA), and an IIDB payment of 30%.

After a very long time, and the Work From Home revolution, I am hoping to head to university to do a part-time Masters course, all delivered online. Obviously it is not paid, as I am financing it. It is also not anything like 16 hours weekly work commitment or I could not undertake it.

I see from the guides that the legislation has changed with regard to the need to disclose working/volunteering as a change of circumstances for New-Style ESA recipients.

Is this the same for part-time education online?

I would very appreciate some guidance on this.

Thank you

Hi PMT

You can be a part time student or even a full time student and your New Style ESA will not be affected.
