Lost pip with one word change was created by Lisa
Hi I have M.E, hyper mobility syndrome and server P.T.S.D with anxiety. My p.t.s.d is what I was left with after 8 years of domestic abuse ( sexual, emotional, financial and violence). My ex was a bus and coach driver. My doctor has stated that I will struggle with my anxiety for the rest of my life. I have only been able to leave my house with one of my sons as support and then only when absolutely necessary like medical appointments for our selves or my support cat. I am unable to use public transport or be anywhere near a road with a bus route so basically I'm house bound and that's with out the pain I live with from my joints due to my hyper mobility syndrome and the permanent exhaustion from my M.E. I had pip for a short while but when they did my review I received the decision letter informing me that the assessment showed I should continue to receive my claim but the decision maker who received the assessment report decided to change one word which resulted in my pip ending. I contacted pip ( which was hard as I struggle with dealing with people) and requested it be looked at again. The man I spoke with asked for a reason why I believed the decision was wrong. I told him that I believed that the official assessment report should not have been altered even if it was just one word. He got really cagey then hung up on me. I gave up after that. Sorry for this rant I just needed to tell someone what happened

Hi Lisa

It must be very difficult for anyone with PTSD to have to go through the questioning which claiming Benefits entails.
If it is appropriate can you give us an idea of the word that was changed?
