Pip Telephone reviews was created by KayEPG
I received a letter last year when I became a pensioner saying my pip had no end date and they would contact me in 2033. Yesterday I received a letter saying they need some information and need to check I am getting the right amount. I have a telephone review on 2nd November, I didn't have to fill in any forms.
Since PIP started 3 years ago my circumstances have change as I have other conditions that now also affect my day to day life, shall I wait for my review to tell them or send them copies of diagnoses?
I've been told they only want to know how I cope day to day and others that say they are not interested in named conditions etc, I'm worrying myself silly and making myself much worse, can you advise me please.

Hi KayEPG
As you have passed State Pension Age, the mobility component of PIP cannot be increased. If you have the standard care component of PIP, it could be increased to enhanced. If you already have enhanced care, any additional medical conditions or needs won't make any financial difference. I am running a few minutes late; my previous meeting is running over.
So, it is up to you what you choose to do here. You can wait for your telephone call and see what they ask you. If you think there is information that would be useful, you might want to inform them beforehand. I know you would like a definitive answer, but there isn't one. The DWP always says claimants should inform them of a change in their conditions, but many people wait until their reviews to do so.
