Hello I found my PIP assessment really distressing and it impacted me for days after mentally as well as triggering a migraine from stress. I have my ESA WCA coming up. I was thinking of requesting a paper based assesment as I've sent a very detailed follow up document and lots of evidence. My GP will be happy to support me on this.
I know they may say no.
But I wanted to ask- 1. Is there a significant downside to a paper based assessment? Would you reccomend requesting this or not?
My thinking is the PIP the assessor didn't listen, didn't let me speak and rushed me. There were glaring errors and the assessor didn't give reasoned arguments and literally just copied and pasted irrelevant reasonings in the PA4 over and over. At least on paper it's all written so they can't make stuff up as easily.
2. Is the WCA call for ESA as brutal as PIP generally? Will the experience be as distressing?
