Hi,
It is difficult to predict how long it takes. The 'pool' of SPVA medical officers has shrunk in recent years (mainly due to Armed Forces Compensation Scheme - AFCS- decisions being made by 'lay' decision makers and also due dwindling number of 'old system' War Pensioners). However I have known of decisions being made within a matter of days quite recently. So hopefully you shouldn't have to wait too long.
