ESA form deadline and medical

Hi,

(please feel free to redirect me if this has already been addressed on this forum)

The deadline for my ESA form was 28th September, and was received a couple of weeks ago. My psychiatrist did a covering letter recommending that attending a medical would be detrimental to my health.

I just wanted to know how long others had to wait after their ESA deadline to be invited to medical, and also if a letter from my psychiatrist would carry any weight.

Hi Mel, my deadline was the 19th and my form was received on the 15th, I haven't heard back yet.

My mental health is sufferring! Form received by them 3 weeks ago and still nothing!
