So ESAcb support group has no time limit, but if say I was entitled to ESAir on top of ESAcb because I fit the means test - would that mean in that instance the ir portion would also not be time limited.

Time spent in the Support Group does not count towards the 365 days you are allowed to be in receipt of ESA(CB).
There is no time limit associated with ESA(IR), whether you are in the WRAG or the Support Group, however, there is an associated means test.
