How long beween submitting ESA50 Form & decsion.

Sorry, sure this is somewhere else, but I'm having no luck and short on productivity.

How long do you normally wait after submiting the ESA50 form to hear bakc from the DWP at all, or with a decsion?

I sent mine in July and late September I was telephoned with decision and a letter followed a week later to confirm.

mine's a reassessment. They received my completed ESA50 on 14th September and I haven't heard back yet.

hi i sent moine back 24th sept told no medical and its been with the decision maker for five weeks sorry to say its a slow painful experience but the forum does help keep your chin up

I returned my form the end of august and have been called for a medical next week. Hope this helps.

Am I right to assume that you don't get a confirmation that the DWP have recieved your ESA50 form?

It seems from the above answers it could easily be 2 months before they contact you with any decision or requests after you return the form.

If thats true, how do you know in this period, (without recorded delivery) that the DWP actually acknowledge receipt of the form at all (e.g. not lost in post)?
