Can anyone help me I have just passed my Atos Medical I have Rheumatoid Arthritis will they put me in the support Group or the Wrag. Thanks

Can I ask, how do you know if you have passed your ATOS medical, if you don't know which group of ESA that you have been placed in?

Hi CW,

I should add :

If you have passed the ESA Medical Assessment, and a decision has been made on an award of ESA, either WRAG or Support Group, you should receive a letter of award from the DWP Decision Maker, telling you this, and informing you which ESA Group that you have been placed in.

i had my medical in December and not heard anything so I rang them up and asked they told me that I had passed !!

This will depend on your personal circumstances, and whether your ESA, no matter which group, is Income Related (Income Based), or Contributary, this will depend on whether you have the necessary NI Contributions, and which benefit you were previously in receipt of, if you have been migrated over to ESA.
