dreaded BROWN ENVELOPE

Hi Mrs Hurtyback
When you asked for medical to be recorded was it when you had the phone call or did you send in a written request,and do you know if the recording is A disc or tape.I am thinking if i am asked to go for a medical to request the medical is recorded.

Hi Mike, I made a written request for the WCA to be recorded. I don't know what format this will be in. There is an item in the 'News' section of this site and this includes a template letter.

I Have copied the item about recording the medical from the news section and have it ready for printing.
There is now another letter in the news section about recording medicals which says the recording will be on a cd. Wish you all the best with your medical.

brown envelope dropped through the letterbox today.

my brain was a bit scramble at first reading it untilthe 4th paragraph down when i read -

you have been placed in the SUPPORT GROUP because your disability restricts the posibility of working.

there was no explaination of how they came to that decision.or how long the award was for.but obviously there was great relief on my part.
hopefully now this means i'll have a few months of respite from the constant worrying.

oh and of course i'd like to thank
B&W for all the great info and help the site provides.and
good luck to anyone who's currently being transfered from IB to ESA or anything else your having to deal with.
