hello again,
when my esa(cb) stops in December,
is it worth my claiming esa(ir)? I ask , as I have a pension which is higher than £150
per week. As my tribunal wasn't successful ,
I'd rather not invite extra hassle on myself ,
is esa(ir) is a "non-starter" because of my pension.(occupational).

ESA(IR) is payable as long as the weekly payment exceeds 10p, so it is worth you getting face to face advise from your local CAB or Welfare Rights office, who will be able to calculate whether you are eligible or not.
Remember, in receiving ESA(IR) you become eligible for one or more premiums which may increase the amount payable to the point where it covers your pension payments.

Whilst it is unlikely that you would qualify for ESA(IR) with an income of this amount, you should not assume that you won't.hello again,

Hi all, this seems as good a place as any to ask a quick question which, no matter how hard I search the interwebs tonight, I don't seem able to get a straight answer on!
I'm on CB ESA, in the support group. I'm currently getting assistance from the council to move to a one-bedroom flat in the private sector. Anyone have any idea what level of council tax benefit I'm likely to qualify for? I'm disabled but don't use a chair and don't need a room for any equipment, nothing like that. Essentially I'll be living in a band B (most likely, possibly Band A) self-contained property. I get low rate care/mobility DLA and will be eligible for the LHA as a single person aged 45 living alone.
Any estimates?!

I am afraid that the (other) moderators on this site are experts in IB/ESA and DLA, I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to advise about council tax benefit.
