It certainly does feel like a witch hunt Pusscatsmum
I have read the various links about ESA(C) but can you clarify something. When my year is up & ESA stops as it doesn't look like i can get IB because of hubby working, will i recieve another ESA50 to re assess if i quailfy for the support group? At present i don't know what group i'm in yet and it hasn't been sorted out since the appeal, so this may not be an issue but i'd just like to know in advance as i'm sure i'll probably be put in WRAG as i nothing ever goes my way!!!

Sorry, the DWP have no plans to issue a new ESA50 as part of the process of time limiting ESA(CB) claimants in the WRAG.

Metallichick.
I think you should be able to claim Housing, and or, Council Tax Benefit, as these benefits are for people in work too. At the very least you and your husband should seek advise.

Unfortunately susanH we did apply for HB/CT and declined it They said he earned too much??? I don't understand why? I've applied twice now and been rejected twice, i can only guess they are working it out on his gross not net? Obviously Net is much lower!!! I even have to pay for all my prescription & have to go to the Royal Free every 6 weeks for injections in my head and have to pay for the pleasure of that?
