Definitely don't bin the paperwork - keep it safe in case you ever need to refer to it in future.
The decision letter probably won't tell you exactly how you got into the SG, if at all. I would consider making a subject access request for all the documentation concerning the decision. This should give you the full reasoning of the decision maker.

Hiya Mrs Hurtyback,
Thats what we thought.
However, I presume when 3 months has gone by, I will receive some form of paperwork to say money stops. What happens re forms do I have to wait a further 12 weeks in order to re apply for ESA & start all over again. Or should I have been better off to have stayed in the WRAG Group for the 18 months they gave me rather than me trying to appeal and them reasessing it & putting me in the Support Group just for 3 months. Think they are being rather mean & it stinks of trying to save money & not paying me.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

The forms should be sent out with enough time to allow a decision to be made before your benefit is due to end - which is why I said that the process will probably start soon! I don't think your benefit just stops.

Many thanks.
We shall await and see what happens in the post.
I presume I shall get first a letter telling me the money stops in 3 months time, followed up with a letter telling me I am lucky and have made it to the Support Group, but the laugh is it is only for 3 months.

Also the three months is an advisory period, and may not be adhered to by the DWP.

Its just so soul destroying. One cannot make any plans for oneself either to try and get better or to fight when one does not know who or when to fight.
This merry go round saps your strength/stamina/hope and willpower to continue or to live.
All we want is compassion, common sense and dignity.
When we know where we are, financially too, this helps the economy they keep battering on about and helps us to maintain oneself. Is this too much to ask for in the 21 Century in a soposedly non 3rd world country.
