Bro I hear what you're saying but I'm very much a glass half empty type of bloke.

I'm already thinking I'll appeal so I'm also fickle.

Hi K,

As I have already said, unfortunately, it is a decision that only you can make.

Bro

Just to clear up what I said about my friend and being placed in the Support after reconsideration! I just feel being placed in there for 6 months as opposed to 12 in the WRAG is very underhanded by the DWP. Instead of receiving a new ESA50 in August as part of a WRAG "review" he'll now get a form more than likely in March or April.

Hi K,

However, the positive aspects are,:

1. Any time spent in The SG does not count against the 365 day entitlement to CB ESA.

2. You do not have to take part in WFI's and WRA whilst in the SG.

3. Once in the SG, the "Burden of proof" is on the DWP DM to prove that you no longer qualify for SG, on reassessment. (Unless you qualify for SG under Exceptional Circumstances Rules]

4. You may receive more money in the form of the SG Component.

Bro cheers for the advice and putting it into prospective. I've downloaded the GL24 and used the template to ask for the ESA85A etc. I told you I was fickle :(

In all honesty I was so happy not to have to attend a face to face assessment I just wanted to forget about forms etc for awhile.

I did not know that if you are in the support group the onus is on the DM to say that you no longer qualify and why, that is very interesting. Gives me some hope.
