In regard to personal independence payment (PIP), the law states that "manage incontinence" means manage involuntary evacuation of the bowel or bladder, including use of a collecting device or self-catheterisation, and clean oneself afterwards.
"Manage incontinence" is relevant to the following personal independence payment activity:
5. Managing toilet needs or incontinence.
