I attended an ATOS WCA "medical" on 16th October last year. I had requested in writing that the assessment be recorded but was informed that no recording facilities were available. As my 365 days on ESA CB had already expired and without any expectation of being placed in the SG, I told the assessor to go ahead anyway. However, as she went through my completed form (with indecent haste, I have to say), on seeing that I had a neurological condition, she double-checked with someone or another and concluded that I would have to be seen by a Doctor. Needless to say, there was no Doctor available on that day.On leaving the premises, an admin. person said that it would probably be "several weeks" before I received another appointment.I'm still waiting. Should I bother contacting them or just leave it, especially as I won't qualify for ESA Income based, and the likelihood of my being placed in the SG is practically nil? I didn't receive a letter, by the way, letting me know that my benefit had stopped, but I understand that there is nothing unusual about this.
