I was told on the phone that I was placed in the support group. I havent received confirmation by letter but as it's been a year since my last phone contact, I assumed that what I was told was correct. Since then my conditioned has worsened and I'm now having treatment as a day patient at hospital every 8 weeks. Should I send more recent letters to DWP or take them with me to the interview along with any other specialist correspondence?
If you have any documents that post date your ESA50 then send a copy to ATOS, send a copy to the DWP (attention of the Decision Maker) and take a copy to the assessment and ask the assessor to read them before continuing with the interview.
The DWP address will be the office that normally deals with your claim.
The ATOS office will be the one where you are being assessed.
