Hey Guys
Am back
got good news. After my second PIP assessment which was done on the 12/03/14, I rang CAPITA who have said it's gone over to the DWP now.
2 questions I wanna ask.
Firstly, it's gone over, ever so quick compared to the first report which wasn't submitted correctly adn took 6 months to pick up on. Is this a good thing ? or do you think they just fast tracked it ?
Second, the lady who done the assessment said to me, am sure you'll be happy with the result. Should I take much from that comment ??
I know they don't make the decision and DWP do. Just anxious on the decision.
Also, does anyone know how long it takes for DWP to make a decision, once report from CAPITA has been received ??
Thanks
W

Hi waqqy,
I'm glad that things finally seem to be moving for you!
Firstly, it does seem that the system is moving more quickly now, I can't say whether your file was fast-tracked.
Secondly, I think it is probably wise to try not to draw any inference from the comment. Blessed is he who expecteth nothing for he shall not be disappointed!
I'm afraid I can't say how quickly DWP will now deal with things.
Edited to add - this poster has been waiting for 6 months following his assessment

Hi
I waited since July and only now heard its gone to DWP. I rang DWP today and they said, once report has been received, which was today. It only take 2-3 weeks for them to make a decision
Hopefully I hear soon
