Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi and welcome to the forum. On the assumption that you are also new to the site, this FAQ should help you find your way around.

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I'm very glad to hear that you have had a good result from your ESA claim. Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W

It might be useful to request a copy of the paperwork associated with your claim. Although you did not have a 'medical' this FAQ is still relevant. The ESA85a form, mentioned in the link, should give you an idea when to expect reassessment (although they have been postponed at the moment we do expect them to restart at some time in the future).

ESA medical – what forms to ask for?

  			 				Hiya,

Yes you need to contact them to get your copies of all paperwork pertaining to your migration to ESA/SG and also to ask for how long is the length of award and from what date does it begin/end.

The site explains how to and to whom to ask for the said paperwork.

Make sure you have copies of your ESA50 you filled in and file it away with anything you deem neccessary to keep ready for the next round of hassle.

When you recieve your copies of required paperwork back from DWP etc determiming how and why you got in the ESA/SG and length of award file that away to together with all relevant paperwork.

Keep updated apts with GP's/Consultants etc and make sure you recive all copies of paperwork/reports etc in the file.

Near the time for the next mery go round, ensure you have seen your GP and consultants and got reports updated and relevant for that year.

(They like to see reports etc no older than 18months old, however attach them to the copies of new/old when you re write your next merry go round ESA50 sometime in the future)

GOOD LUCK
