Can you take your DLA care component to Europe?

I have been told by my doctor that I would be better off in a warmer country. I was wondering if I am allowed to take my DLA care component abroad, or is it discretionary, or does it depend on circumstances. I would really appreciate your feedback. What would I need to do, and what would the procedure be. Thank you

As the legislation and regulations are so complex, I am afraid that we are not qualified to advise on the exportability of benefits abroad, but the following Gov UK page should get you started
