There's really no way to say, the Decision Maker will always favour the ATOS report over anything that your GP writes, but this may be negligible if the report directly addresses the ESA Descriptors and Regulations and more so if it doesn't, for example; a letter that just says you are not Fit for Work will carry little weight, but one that says that you meet Descriptor X because of limitation Y that is a result of condition Z should be very effective.
