Atos and SAR

Hi as this is unconnected to my previous questions thought i would post this separately brains all over the place think i'm having a relapse of ME But wanted to know can you ask under a SAR information held by Atos on paper as well as the assessors report done for the DWP as I know when the assessor came to my home she filled in a booklet she never stopped writing in it but i never saw what she wrote and would like to to see if it corresponds with what i said and what she typed in the report to the DWP.

Hi tb,

There should be no need to make a SAR to ATOS.

Once ATOS have compiled/written any reports/documents regarding an ESA, DLA or PIP assessment, it is returned with your file to The DWP.

Therefore, it would be the DWP that you issue the SAR to, not ATOS.

ATOS should not store any documents or reports regarding an assessment.

Hi tb,

If you are speaking of "notes" that the ATOS HCP was making to refer to when compiling the assessment report, then these should be destroyed by The HCP after use.

You could try making a SAR to ATOS for these, but it would be a long shot !!!

All personal information is supposed to be destroyed where applicable or stored securely by the organisation's Data Controller.
